SheepWatch Uk has been set up to try and support farmers and other people that keep sheep, particularly around the issue of sheep worrying and dog attacks on sheep. It has also been set up to encourage responsible dog ownership.
The number of dog attacks on sheep seems to be rising with thousands of sheep killed each year.

Aims
- To reduce the number of dog attacks on sheep
- To encourage education about sheep farming the the general public
Objectives
- To educate the general public to keep their dogs on leads near sheep and to realise that sheep attacks and worrying is a punishable crime
- Ask farmers to be clear where sheep are grazing and when an area is free of livestock and safe for a dog to run free
- To raise the profile of laws which can be used to punish those who allow their dogs to become out of control
- To record the number of sheep which are attacked by dogs in the UK
